Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards aims to celebrate extraordinary women taking on the most urgent issues facing their communities and showing exceptional leadership in an insecure world.
Victoria Kisyombe was awarded the Vital Voices Global Leadership Economic Empowerment Award by Hillary Rodham Clinton at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for her trailblazing work to empower women through micro leasing in Tanzania as founder and CEO of SELFINA.
Dr. Victoria earns the 2014 Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards Economic Empowerment Award for her positive contribution to the livelihoods of over 200,000 people. Here receiving the award from the hands of Anne M. Finucane, Vice Chairman, Bank of America.
